 Lynne Pittard has successfully built a reputation as an artist who paints with passion and versatility. Once she began her first strokes to a canvas, she amazed everyone with paintings that expressed beauty, life and feeling.
Armed with boundless energy she was drawn immediately to teaching oil painting and sharing it with others. Best known for her TV series “Painting With Pittard”, Lynne concentrated her energies on creating over 130 painting shows that aired nationwide on PBS for over 16 years. For twenty years Lynne traveled and taught workshops in over thirty states and authored eight instructional books on painting. Her ability to express and share with others made her an instructor of National Television acclaim.
Lynne’s extensive website offers a gallery of many of her paintings that include landscapes, seascapes, still life, floral, wildlife, underwater images, and informal portraits. In order to continue offering her teaching expertise to her many thousands of students, she offers her own Art Academy through the Internet with CD’s, DVD’s and video lessons. She continues to teach workshops, but has focused her artistic ability on creating a series of exceptional new works including her underwater series, large floral expressions, and capturing the beauty of Palm Beach’s unique architectural interest. Her artwork is well known and a favorite of numerous collectors.
Lynne’s most recent exhibit was with the Hibel Museum of Art to commemorate a National project for victims of September 11th, entitled “Freedom’s Flowers”. She was an invited artist to participate in Artigras 2003 Art Festival in Palm Beach County to exhibit her work.

Lynne Pittard is a devoted wife to William H. Pittard and mother to three children. Her three children include Mrs. Dawn Maley of Lake Worth Florida, Major Edie Lynne Edmondson, USAF and David Lance Pittard of Palm Beach, Florida.
